Un bref commentaire « astrophysique » par Jean Audouze

Ce commentaire vise à rappeler les arguments issus de l’astrophysique qui font que même s’il est probable que d’autres planètes extra – solaires constituent l’habitat d’êtres vivants pluricellulaires dont quelques rares puissent être « intelligents », l’humanité demeurera incapable de prouver leur existence. Réfléchir sur les formes possibles que pourraient avoir ces êtres hypothétiques relève donc de la pure imagination à la fois sur le plan scientifique et artistique.

This comment summarizes the main astrophysical arguments according which it seems likely that there exists living complex beings located on a few extra solar planets and that some of them can be considered as « intelligent ». Nevertheless, it is impossible to prove their existence. Therefore the scientific and artistic considerations about their possible structures are and will be purely imaginative.
