La guerre cognitive au prisme de la boucle OODA

Alors que la guerre de l’information va consister à modifier une action de manière limitée, la guerre cognitive va tenter de modeler la cible pour contrôler ses intentions en lui fournissant des grilles de lecture adéquates. La génétique, l’expérience et la culture mise en exergue dans la phase d’orientation de la boucle OODA sont dès lors autant de terrains où il va s’agir d’encercler cognitivement l’adversaire de manière profonde et durable.

Whereas information warfare consists in modifying an action in a limited way, cognitive warfare attempts to shape the target in order to control its intentions, by providing it with adequate reading grids. The genetics, experience and culture highlighted in the orientation phase of the OODA loop are all areas in which the aim is to encircle the adversary cognitively in a deep and lasting way.
