For a reasonable evaluation of its dynamic behavior, the influence of the uncertainty of some parameters is taken into account. The dynamic equations of the quarter car system are solved by using the polynomial chaos method combined with the ODE 45 solver of Matlab. The effect of the random perturbation of the spring on the dynamic response of the system is discussed. This method is an efficient tool for uncertainty propagation. To obtain more accuracy, the polynomial chaos results are compared with direct simulations.}}
