AB  - A drop of water is an infinitesimal world, totally unknown. I was able to observe under the microscope the tiny life that bubbles, teems, in barely 1 cl of water. Living creatures reproduce, feed, and die on a scale that is foreign and unknowable to us. On this scale, an hour can represent a life. I thus propose to represent the micro-organisms of a drop of water from the bay of Villefranche in the Mediterranean, in an attempt to discover and reveal the invisible creatures, whose refinement and complexity inspire me. Through this multidisciplinary work, I question the origins of photography with the cyanotype, and I thus appropriate scientific microscopy. I merge ancient and modern techniques to renew a documentary approach to the living.
