These organisms, phytoplankton, green in color, under favorable marine conditions, color enormous areas of the ocean. So enormous that the extent, trully global, can only be observed from space. Here we present some images of the northwestern Mediterranean Sea, taken by a scientific satellite, which show us the beauty of this tondo visible only from an altitude of 700 km.}}
